Python package of the multi-spacecraft longitudinal configuration plotter Solar-MACH
Description
solarmach is the Python package for Solar-MACH, a multi-spacecraft heliospheric configuration and magnetic-connectivity tool. It obtains spacecraft ephemerides from JPL Horizons, can retrieve measured solar-wind speeds for selected missions through Speasy, computes Parker-spiral backmapping in Carrington or Stonyhurst coordinates, and produces tabular, 2D polar, interactive 3D, and optional PFSS field-line results driven by GONG maps. When a measured solar-wind speed cannot be obtained, it uses a configurable default value.
